Q. RE:Memory problem

Hello,

I'd turn off Norton 360 and diskeeper temporally and see if the problem is still there, if so you might want to check your ram for errors, there is a free diagnostics CD you can download which has many error checking/system programs inluding a Ram tester, It's called the Ultimate Boot CD and can be found here:

http://www.ultimatebootcd.com/

Please read there FAQ on how to burn this to a disc and boot it, You may need to set your BIOS to boot first from CD aswell, this is mentioned in the fAQ, and iv'e found a more in depth guide for you here:

http://www.hiren.info/pages/bios-boot-cdrom

If there is errors in your ram, test them indivually buy taking all of them out except one and testing them, you may find that it's only one stick that's bad and the computer will work alot better if it's removed.
