Customer segments
Unmanaged. A networked business (typically 1-10 PCs) that has no dedicated IT resources.
Self-managed. A computing environment (typically 10-50 PCs) that has a dedicated internal IT department to manage, administer and support its network.
Externally managed. A networked business (typically 10-99 PCs) that contracts IT services from a managed service provider (MSP) on an outsourced basis.
